Between February and May, the first innovative and experimental ERUA project was held around the theme of exile(s). The initiative consisted of three mobilities, one in each participating university, Roskilde, Paris 8 and Uagean. The programme foresaw lectures, field work with civil society actors working with migrants daily, activities carried out in groups by students, and convivial moments between students and professors. Once selected, the students have worked in groups that collaborate during the activities until the end of the project, according to the programme.

“This project is very rich insofar as we have left our comfort zones, our respective countries, to go and meet the other, and this makes sense, particularly on the question of exile. Through a multidisciplinary approach, we were able to bring questions beyond our borders and especially to confront them with other views. Furthermore, it was possible to cross theory and practice, which greatly enriched our perspective as students. This approach can be considered one of the strongest points of our experience and we could not imagine it otherwise.” (P8 ERUA Surdents’ Team)
