Eighth ERUA Open Science Meet-Up will take place on 29.09.
on the topic: The impact of the Bulgarian National Open Science Plan on the New Bulgarian University
On September 29 between 14:00 and 14:45 (CET), the 8th ERUA Open Science Meet-Up will take place on Zoom. The topic is: the impact of the Bulgarian National Open Science Plan on the New Bulgarian University.
Unlike many countries in the European Union, Bulgaria channels its open science efforts through a national open science plan established by the government.
It is not difficult to imagine that the implementation of this plan will have an impact not only on the academic infrastructure in Bulgaria, but also on the way individual universities conduct Open Science. At this meeting, Kristina Stoyanova, Radostina Todorova and Assoc. Prof. Eduard Marinov will show how the plan has redefined the way the New Bulgarian University in Sofia does Open Science. How has the plan impacted the university’s infrastructure? How has it changed existing open science efforts? What new policies and Open Science services have been created as a result of the plan’s requirements and proposals?
Following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and explore specific aspects in greater depth. All members of the five ERUA universities (New Bulgarian University, Roskilde, Constance, Paris 8 and University of the Aegean) are invited to attend the session, no registration is required.
