SUMMARY:International Biennale of Glass in Bulgaria
DESCRIPTION:During the International Year of Glass – 2022, the International Biennale of Glass in Bulgaria (IBG) has decided to organize a series of exhibitions of the Biennale collection, the first of which will take place between 23 March and 14 April, 2022, at the UniArt Gallery of the New Bulgarian University – IBG’s main partner.\nThe Opening of the exhibition will be streamed on the virtual platform IBG Connect, where on the following day (24 March at 10 AM CET) the IBG will also host a webinar with donors to the IBG Collection, who will share their artistic path, creative research, the story behind the artwork(s) they’ve donated, etc. You are welcome to sign up for IBG Connect and join both online events: https://ibg-connect.app.lounjee.com/signup ( https://ibg-connect.app.lounjee.com/signup ) \nThe International Biennale of Glass is the largest and most professionally oriented event in Bulgaria devoted exclusively to glass art. It takes place every two years, between September and October. Guests of the event are international authors and lecturers who introduce the audience to the opportunities and achievements in this field of fine arts. Since its first edition in 2017, the IBG has gathered an impressive collection of over 130 artworks by glass artists from 45 countries around the world, which continues to grow, reflecting the motto of the IBG – “Together”.\n
