Digital Conference on Gendered Innovation – Call for abstracts

The University of the Aegean, within the Re:ERUA initiative, cordially invites submissions for participation in the 2024 online Digital Conference on Gendered Innovation, scheduled 18-19 September 2024. This conference is open to both ERUA/Re:ERUA member institutions and interested stakeholders, bringing together academia, business & industry, governmental, communities, and social actors to present and discuss experiences and perspectives on gendered innovation perspectives and practices.

 

This conference is a pilot initiative for gendered and inclusive innovation in the context of the WP4’s objective to provide women scientists and minorities with new opportunities, improve their skills connected with innovation and the social management of technology aimed at diversity and inclusion.

 

This two-day digital conference allows participants to:

 

  • Focus on the impact of gender and intersectional analysis on innovation and discovery;
  • Discuss gendered innovation across academia, the private sector, governmental bodies, and social actors;
  • Showcase specific case studies on how gendered approaches lead to innovation;
  • Network across academics, policy makers, entrepreneurs, and organizations.

 

Please submit your abstract in accordance to the detailed Call for Abstracts, provided at the end of this webpage – deadline 10th June 2024,  23:59 (CET).

WP4 Call for abstracts Conf. on Gendered Innovation September 2024

The initiative is held within the framework of WP4: The Alliance as an engine for Human Capital of the Research component of ERUA (Re:ERUA), the European Reform University Alliance, funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (agreement No 101035808) by researchers, managers and experts at the University of the Aegean in collaboration with Paris8 University, Roskilde University, University of Konstanz, and New Bulgarian University.
