Round table “The challenges of digitalization in education”

In the context of the Digital November 2021 events, the French Institute of Greece (Institut Français de Grèce – IFG) decided to invite French and Greek speakers to examine the challenges and the prospects offered by the explosion of the online education and the new virtual relationship between teacher and student.

In the discussion on behalf of the University of the Aegean participates Mr. Panagiotis Grigoriou, Professor of International & European Institutions, Head of the European Research & Study Center Jean Monnet and Director of the Laboratory of Social & Political Institutions, on the topic “Digitization of higher education: a decisive step towards its Europeanisation”.

The round table includes other speakers such as Mr. Stelios Markantonakis, from the Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of the Attica Region, Mr. Nicolas Turquet, Director of the Directorate-General’s Office of CANOPE in Paris and Mr. Yves Palau, Faculty Director of Political Studies at the University of Paris-Est Créteil.

The discussion will be moderated by the journalist Valia Kaimaki.

Due to COVID-19, this issue is relevant and concerns all levels of education, but also lends tone to the discussion of building a common future of European education.

The event will be held on live streaming too.
